VIVA AntiRacism Webinar Series #1: Leadership In-Person

The first webinar of VIVA's Antiracism Webinar Series will take place on Thursday, February 25th from 10 am to 12 pm and will cover the topic of Leadership with a focus on leading at all levels of the library. Elaine Westbrooks, Vice Provost of University Libraries and University Librarian at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker of this session. A panel of Virginia library staff (David Heilbrun, George Mason University; Lisa Payne, John Tyler Community College; and Yasmeen Shorish, James Madison University) will follow the keynote presentation. The panelists will be invited to speak about their experience with fostering and enacting an antiracist environment through various types of leadership and in a wide array of areas of librarianship.
